Red Bank Catholic 35, Freehold Boro 0

Red Bank Catholic earned its third shutout in five games this season to improve to 5-0 on the road on Saturday. With the win, the Caseys recorded their 29th consecutive win against Shore Conference opponents.

Red Bank Catholic last conference loss came at the hands on Freehold Boro on Oct. 9, 2010. Through five games this season, RBC has outscored the opposition 233-13.

Manasquan 38, Middletown South 0

Middletown South fell to Manasquan to suffer its second conseuctive loss after opening the season with back-to-back wins. In a battle between the two most successful teams in Shore Conference history — in terms of state championships — the Eagles failed to score in the loss to Manasquan.

Saturday marks the first time that Middletown South had lost back-to-back games since last year, when it fell to Red Bank Catholic and Colts Neck in consecutive weeks.
