3/12 –Middletown Man Charged with Burglary, Threatening Resident

MIDDLETOWN – Police arrested a township man on Monday for breaking into a home and threatening the resident.

Police said Kyle A. Clayton, 22, Ironwood Court, entered a Locust Terrace dwelling and harassed a female resident, according to the criminal complaint police forwarded to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. Clayton allegedly attempted to enter the home earlier in the evening, banged on the front door and returned later and broke in, according to the complaint.

Clayton’s bail was set at $2,500 without the option to post a 10 percent bond.
