SHREWSBURY – The Shrewsbury Environmental Commission are looking for volunteers to make the community clean and green.

The commission is seeking help for an Earth Day Clean Up, scheduled for Saturday, April 26, from 10a.m.-noon. Participants are asked to come to the borough hall parking lot, 419 Sycamore Ave. Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes and are asked to bring sturdy gloves; garbage bags will be provided. Parents should accompany small children.

Those planning to participate should notify the environmental commission and give your or your organization name. For more information email the commission at shrewsbury.envcomm@gmail.com.
