FAIR HAVEN — Police are investigating and are asking for the public’s help for a report of an attempted robbery of a pizza delivery driver on Sunny Ridge Road on Monday evening.

According to police, between 9:45 and 10 p.m., the delivery driver was approached by a white male, between 6-foot and 6-foot-2 inches tall, weighing approximately 190 pounds and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans. The suspect demanded money and threatened the driver, but did not appear to have a weapon, police said.

When the driver refused to hand over the money, the suspect fled on foot, northbound on Sunny Ridge Road.

Police are asking anyone with any information to contact Detective Stephen Schneider, 732-747-0241, extension 331.
