5/12 – Free Gardening Shortcuts Workshop to be Held Tomorrow in Neptune

NEPTUNE – The Monmouth County Office on Aging will present a workshop, entitled “Great Gardening Shortcuts,” from 11 a.m. 50 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at the Monmouth County Connection, 3544 State Highway 66.

The program is for gardeners of all experience levels. Master Gardener Bernard Dickman will discuss how to save time and money when planting a garden. Those attending will learn what to do with leftover vegetation, how to avoid common mistakes and how to get the most out of their plants with a minimal amount of effort.

All programs are free and open to all Monmouth County residents, but advance registration is required and may be completed by calling 732-303-2828.

The Monmouth County Connection is located in the strip mall at 3544 State Highway 66 in Neptune, adjacent to the Home Depot and across the street from Walmart.
