6/13 – Road Closures Planned in Red Bank Tomorrow Morning for Sheehan Race

RED BANK — Some borough streets will be closed tomorrow morning for the George Sheehan Classic 5K race.

Police said Broad Street will be closed – starting at 4 a.m. – from Harding Road to Front Street as will all side streets in the area leading to Broad street. The closure will be extended to the entirety of Broad Street and all adjoining side streets, beginning at 7 a.m..

Also beginning at 7 a.m., all roads east of Broad Street from and including Harding Road, south to the Little Silver border and east to Prospect Avenue will be closed to facilitate the road race.

All roadways will be opened following the race, expected to be no later than 10 a.m.

Front Street will remain open for eastbound and westbound traffic; Maple Avenue will remain open for northbound and southbound traffic.
