6/29 – Monmouth County Grand Jury Hands Up Indictments

FREEHOLD ­– A Monmouth County grand jury handed up indictments on several cases on Thursday.

A Barnegat man was indicted for possession of a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a public park and with the intention of distributing it in Middletown.

The six-count indictment charges that Louis M. Coscia, 34, was in possession of methylone, commonly called “Molly,” and heroin on Nov. 4 in the area of Middletown’s Bicentennial Park, Highway 35.

The grand jury handed up an indictment against Linda Moss, 52, of Prospect Circle, Atlantic Highlands, charging her with forgery, theft by deception and theft of movable property.

According to the indictment, Moss allegedly forged a check, drawn on a TD Bank account, for $400 and cashed it at a Middletown branch.

Rachel R. Parker, 19, of Church Street, Belford, was indicted for forgery and theft by deception.

According to the indictment, Parker allegedly forged a personal check for $419, drawn on a Central Jersey Bank, and cashed it at a West Long Branch branch of the bank.

A grand jury also handed up and indictment against Paul A. DeVito, 32, of Viola Avenue in the Leonardo section of Middletown, for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, heroin ion March 28 in Middletown.
