TINTON FALL – Borough police arrested Janelle C. Hendrex, 19, of Montgomery Terrace, Red Bank, on July 9, charging her with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute.

According to the criminal complaint police submitted to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, police said Hendrex allegedly was found in possession of 102 glassine bags, stamped with “King Kong,” containing an off-white powdery substance. Police believed the powder, weighing less than 5 ounces, was heroin.

Hendrex also was charged with possessing a plastic bag knotted at the top, containing a half-ounce of a white, powdery substance that police said was cocaine and a bag containing 10 oxycontin bills. Police charged Hendrex with possession of narcotics with the intent to sell.

Hendrex’s bail was set at $110,000 with the option to post a 10 percent bond.
