7/17 – Bayshore Tea Party to Hold Rally About Immigration Saturday

July 17, 2014

By John Burton

MIDDLETOWN – The Bayshore Tea Party Group has planned a peaceful rally Saturday, July 19, to show its opposition to what the political group considers the lack of protection at American borders.

The rally will be from 10 a.m. until noon at ShopRite Plaza, Highway 35 north and Harmony Road, as one of a number of similar rallies planned by Tea Party groups around the country.

“Illegal aliens, many who are NOT children, are flooding through our borders and being placed in facilities throughout the country, including NJ,” wrote Barbara Gonzalez, co-founder of the Bayshore group, in a press release announcing the event.
