7/18 – Middletown Man Charged with Threatening Atlantic Highlands Police Officer

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS – Borough police charged Avery C. Murch, 19, of Latham Avenue, Middletown, on Tuesday, July 15, with making terroristic threats against an Atlantic Highlands police officer.

While incarcerated at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in  Freehold, on burglary and theft charges, Murch allegedly told an officer “in a threatening tone,” “When I get out you will see me,” according to the criminal complaint.

Murch’s bail on the charge  was set at $30,000 without the option to post a 10 percent bond.
