Monmouth County’s 9/11 Memorial is located at Mount Mitchill Scenic Overlook, Atlantic Highlands. The eagle sculpture, with a beam from one of the fallen World Trade Center towers, is set against views of New York City.

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS – The Monmouth County Park System will host a memorial ceremony at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 at Mount Mitchill Scenic Overlook, the site of Monmouth County’s 9/11 Memorial.

The ceremony will be held rain or shine, and all are welcome to attend.
