Michael Scherfen, a local watercolor artist, will be showing and discussing his paintings, ranging from portraits to local and European landscapes, at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5 at the Atlantic Highlands Public Library.
Scherfen will demonstrate the techniques he uses to build a painting, from the initial sketch
