I lived in Central NJ for 15 years. Barnacle Bills was one of the best places to go to unwind, have a drink, bring the kids (who never got bored because they could throw the peanut shells on the floor!) AND the food was GREAT! I guess if the kids were allergic to peanuts it wouldn’t have been so fun! LOL I fall on my behind all the time, but sheesh, I certainly wouldn’t blame the restaurant! It’s not like you don’t SEE them THERE….Next time I’m in NJ I’ll be back – great place- even without the peanuts! Gorgeous views of the river, too. The owner’s niece, Jen used to babysit my kids. Nice Family. Wishing you all the best!
