Wendell A. Smith, Esq., chairman of the Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation, welcomed four new members to the Foundation Board of Trustees: Nicholas Colisto, Adrian Pristas, M.D., Philip Scaduto, and Ross Zimmerman.
Colisto is the vice president and chief information officer at Hovnanian Enterprises, Inc. He previously held roles at Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Priceline.com, Hyperion Solutions, Inc., Bayer Corporation, and Pepsi-Cola. He is a member of the Rutgers University Industrial Advisory Board and the Brookdale Community College Academic Advisory Board, and previously served as an adjunct professor at Manhattanville College: School of Graduate Studies. He and his family live in Marlboro with their two children.
Pristas is a Meridian health physician affiliated with Bayshore Community Hospital and Riverview Medical Center. He previously served on the medical executive committee at Bayshore, in addition to serving as president of the medical staff from 2005-2008. Most recently he served as the medical director for the Intensive Care Unit at Bayshore and was awarded the John C. Borden Award for proficiency and outstanding service in the field of internal medicine.
Scaduto is vice president and co-owner of Food Circus Super Markets, Inc. He is a lifelong resident of Middletown and throughout his professional career has been actively involved in many charitable and civic organizations, volunteering his time and offering financial support. He served for six years on the Middletown Township Board of Education. He is co-chairman of the New Jersey Food Trust and was recently named chairman of the New Jersey Food Council.
Zimmerman is the senior vice president/managing director for the medical lending group, private banking group, and the commercial lending group within Two River Community Bank. Previously, he was with Wachovia for more than 24 years in various capacities. He is involved with numerous community and non-profit organizations, including serving on the Ronald McDonald House board of directors, and the Monmouth Park Charity board of directors.
“Our board members devote many hours of time to our organization and our community,” says Smith. “They serve tirelessly on a volunteer basis and are charged with making decisions that help to enhance the health care landscape in Bayshore Hospital’s service area.”
