The Affordable Housing Alliance will host a free New Homebuyer Workshop on Saturday, Dec. 10, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church, 124 Atkins Ave., Asbury Park.

Attendees will learn how income-qualified households can purchase an affordable home, what types of loans are available and how to qualify for a low-interest loan or down payment and closing cost assistance.

The workshop will also include a preview of SAGAN (Solar, Affordable, Green, Accessible, Net-zero Energy) a new affordable home design developed by the Affordable Housing Alliance.

Affordable homes currently for sale are located in Asbury Park, Eatontown, Manalapan, Marlboro, Shrewsbury, Tinton Falls and other Monmouth County municipalities. Seating is limited to 40 and pre-registration is required. Call (732) 389-2958 to register.
