Two River Community Bank Moves to New Headquarters

 

TINTION FALLS – William D. Moss, president and CEO, has announced that the Two River Community Bank has relocated and consolidated its executive offices and all bank-related departments into a new, state-of-the-art corporate headquarters located at 766 Shrewsbury Ave.

“Our new corporate headquarters provides exceptional utilization of space and provides for future growth,” Moss said. “We will have greater efficiency in how we serve our valued external and internal customers, as well as have an appropriate platform for the bank to continue with our growth plans.

“We would like to thank the municipality of Tinton Falls, and all other parties involved, for their assistance in our relocation. Our new home is fitting for Monmouth County’s largest home-based commercial bank,” he said.

Two River Community Bank operates 15 branch locations and two regional lending offices serving Monmouth, Middlesex and Union counties. It is a full-service bank that provides commercial and retail banking services to small and medium-sized businesses, professionals, and individual consumers.

Volunteers See 135 Patients During 6th Annual Free Dentistry Event

 

LINCROFT – The first people arrived at 5 a.m. and by the end of the day 135 patients were seen and received more than $53,000 in free dental care during the 6th annual Dentistry from the Heart event at Newman Springs Dental Care.

The first patients were treated before 7 a.m. and the last left with a smile at 4 p.m. Everyone who showed up by noon was able to receive dental care. The 31 volunteers were exhausted yet satisfied that they had given their all to help their community.

The volunteers were Dr. Mitchel Friedman, Dr. Julia Cintron, Dr. Jeffrey Zatzkin, Dr. John Frattellone, Dr. Allan Ruda, Dr. Kayvon Haghighi, Dr Beth DeAngelis, Dr. Randy Davis, Dr. Dan Winston, Dr. Lauren Picciotto, Jennifer DeMarco, Jean Morris, Erica Loren, Laura Read, Quinn Kowal, Keary Bennett, Monique Sheary, Linda Paris, Roxanne Motley, Amanda Butler, Noah Schayowitz, Colleen Carey, Marcy Buckler, Stefanie Thomas, Ida Whittaker, Tricia McHugh, Kim Brooks, Melissa Muth, Mike DeMarco, Mike Strycharz and Allison Alanya

The donors were J&J Morris Construction (Jean & John Morris), Henry Schein Dental, Patterson Dental, Dentsply (Jessica Vukovich), Omega Print (Doug Godfrey), Bagel Masters (Darren & Meredith Weinstein), Dunkin’ Donuts Lincroft (Dominic & Jeff Sequeira), Comcast Spotlight, Brookdale Community College Public Radio, Viamedia (advertising sales representatives for Verizon FiOS), POH Oral Health Products, LED Dental Velscope, Kalmed Dental Products, Joyce’s (Neil Givens), Jersey Mike’s subs (Dave Rich), Aleo’s Pizza, Cypress Café, Pepsi of Asbury Park and Blue Mountain Water.

Marcy Buckler of LED Dental, developer the Velscope, was on hand to add her expertise. With the Velscope, volunteers were able to perform advanced oral cancer exams to detect suspicious cell changes under the surface of the skin. After consultation with the oral surgeons on hand, several people were offered free follow-up care after the event.

When the event ended 135 patients were seen and 540 procedures were performed. Parents brought their 2-day-old baby to the dental office because they both had been suffering with toothaches. A homeless couple appreciated the meal offered by volunteers after they received relief from painful infections.

“With such a great need in our community, one day is a pretty small thing; however we hope that we made a difference in the lives of those we treated,” said Dr. Mitchel Friedman, the event sponsor. “At the six events we treated over 800 patients. Our motto is always ‘Paying it Forward with Charity and Gratitude.’

“Our hope is that this continues to be an annual event and that by our efforts, others can be inspired to give back to benefit their community,” he said.

 

CN Business Association Looking for Board Members

 

COLTS NECK – The Colts Neck Business Association is actively seeking members to join the executive board.

The members must either have a business in Colts Neck or live in Colts Neck. The nominating committee is creating a slate of candidates for the six positions, but nominations will also be taken from the floor at the November meeting. The membership has approved an appointed position of assistant treasurer. The purpose of this position is to foster greater checks and balances and accountability. This individual is not restricted by the same criteria that applies to executive board positions.

The CNBA would like to send out a special thanks to George and Savas at Perkins, for always being there when we need them. The graciously supply refreshments to our monthly meetings and treated everyone to pies and cookies at our Annual Pig Roast. Not to mention, on almost any day of the week you can find members of the CNBA conducting business at the back round table inside Perkins.

The Colts Neck Business Association welcomes all to its general meetings from 8 to 9 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Colts Neck Public Library, 1 Winthrop Road.

The CNBA continues to grow at a rapid pace and is led by President Glen J.
