Celebrating Lunch Break’s 30 Years of Service

MIDDLETOWN – Lunch Break’s fourth annual gala and fundraiser will held from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at the Navesink Country Club, 50 Luffburrow Lane.

The evening will include hors d’oeuvres, carving stations, a cash bar, a silent auction as well as a live auction, and a 50/50 raffle at $30 a chance. Entertainment will be provided by the Pat Karwan Trio. Karwan will be joined by Desi Norman on vibes and Tom Labella on saxophone. Steve Trevelise of New Jersey 101.5 will be the MC as well as the auctioneer.

There will be presentations of the Norma K. Todd Award to Myron and Judith Kaller, the Heart to Hand Award to First Presbyterian Church (Tower Hill Church), the Future Charitable Leaders Award to Ranney School, and the Beacon of Service Award to the Red Bank Rotary Club.

In Lunch Break’s 30-year history of alleviating hunger and providing life’s basic necessities, there are a record number of people struggling to make ends meet. The demand for Lunch Break’s services has grown dramatically.
