LINCROFT – This fall the Monmouth County Park System brings back your favorite programs as well as new ones.
Offerings include: Preparing quick and easy meals for your whole family with back to school menu ideas; learning the history of a county park during the historical estate walking tour of Thompson Park; enjoy some old-fashioned family fun at the Walnford Harvest barn dance; or join one of the three new teen clubs – Living on the Edge, Super Volunteer Team, and Teen Leadership Council.
The fall parks directory features more than100 new programs and events. Available in most county parks and libraries on Friday, Aug. 10, the directory lists all park system special events and programs offered September through December.
Registration for fall programs begins Wednesday, Aug. 15. Online registration is available for most programs. Consult the directory for details about registering online, by phone, by mail or in person.
