FH Council Commends Quick-Thinking Crossing Guard

Colts Neck resident and Fair Haven school crossing guard John Furiato was honored by the Fair Haven Borough Council last Monday for his actions in protecting a young Knollwood School student from being in the path of a vehicle making an illegal turn. Furiato helps some 60 to 80 kids cross safely to school at the corner of River and Hance Roads.
