MIDDLETOWN – The annual Red – A Girlfriends’ Valentine Luncheon to benefit Monmouth County Historical Association will be held 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Navesink Country Club.

A sold-out event last year, more than 230 women are expected to attend and enjoy lunch, boutique shopping, chance raffles and a special presentation by Kelly Stuart, Brooks Brothers historian, entitled “Demanding E-Quality, Women’s Quest to Be Properly Dressed at Brooks Brothers.”

The event chairwomen are Lynn Spector and Liz Thees.

Unique boutique vendors will offer a range of items from jewelry to home goods. Vendors will include By George, Cozmeena, Dani Risi, Egg Baby, Nancy Troske Jewelry, PK Collection, Torregrossa, Water and Lily, Zwikker and Zacher.

New this year are special “experience tours” which will be available by purchasing individual tickets or getting a group together for private, professionally guided tours to The Cloisters, New York City’s Chelsea Art Galleries and a walking tour of Central Park provided by The Central Park Conservancy.

Red also features a fabulous silent auction with donations from each vendor plus additional packages from local and New York businesses.

Tickets are available by calling the office at 732-462-1466, ext.19, or on-line at www.monmouthhistory.org.
