It’s Girls Night Out Again in RB

October 6, 2012

RED BANK – The popular Girls Night Out event, a get-together for women for a night on the town, will be held from Thursday, Oct. 11, throughout the borough’s business district.

It’s a night of specials and discounts at participating shops, restaurants and bars. Participants get a bag full of gifts and discounts from their favorite businesses all in a reusable shopping bag.

This Girls Night Out is a perfect way to get an early start on holiday shopping. It’s also a good way to help charities as some businesses are also having a charity component.

As part of Girls Night Out, Esoterica Ltd., at 11 Monmouth St., will be holding a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Since October is breast cancer awareness month, they will be donating 10 percent of their sales to the cause. There will be discounts offered and drawings held. Attendees can win accessories valued at hundreds of dollars.

Check in for the event is between 5 and 7 p.m. at one of three locations: The Galleria, 2 Bridge Ave.; theGLAMbar, 116 Broad St.; or Monmouth Street Emporium, 27 Monmouth St. Those attending will get their map with participating businesses and a gift bag, while supplies last.

Throughout the evening there will be opportunities to enter prize raffles. The more businesses visited, the greater the chances of winning. Enter to win at each participating business with purchases.

Live music will play on the streets throughout town during the evening.
