Middletown Lions Club To Host Texas Hold ‘Em

The Middletown Lions Club will host a Texas ‘Hold-Em’ Poker Tournament for Charity on Friday, November 4 at 7:30 p.m. at VFW Post #2179, Route 36 Eastbound, Port Monmouth. The event, which supports an array of charitable community initiatives and programs, carries a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool. The entrance fee of $100 provides 2,000 chips, and if players reserve in advance with payment, they will receive 500 additional chips plus the first re-buy for only $50. Players will receive an additional 500 chips if they arrive and sign in prior to 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Unlimited re-buys in the first round are $100 for 2,000 chips, and players may purchase a single add-on at the end of the third round for $100, which will provide 2,000 chips.
