Pinktune City Bocce Tournament

9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Neptune City Memorial Park

The opening ceremony will be at 8:30 a.m. as Neptune City is turned into Pinktune City for the month of May. There will be a Memorial and Survivor Ribbon Tribute.  Additional information about entering a team available by calling Sal Caliendo 732-988-4540.

Thursday, May 8

Girls Night Out at The Downtown

7 to 10 p.m.

The Downtown, West Front Street, Red Bank

Girls Night Out will be rockin’ The Downtown once again with favorite pink cocktails and treats, hors d’oeuvres and live music. After 10 p.m. attendees are invited to stick around for The Downtown’s Rock & Roll karaoke.  Tickets are on sale for $60 by calling 855-PINK-411.

Saturday, May 10

3rd Annual Mary’s Place by the Sea Walk-a-thon

11 a.m.

15 Broadway, Ocean Grove

Meridian Health and Paint the Town Pink will form a team to support women dealing with cancer at the walk-a-thon.  This year’s walk includes a 2.5-mile course, free food and beverages, live music, vendors, and more.  Additional information and registration is available by visiting PaintTheTownPink.com or marysplacewalk2014.dojiggy.com.

Open House and Breast Health Information Session

Neptune City Medical Arts Building, 2100 Corlies Ave., Suite 12, Neptune

Dr. Denise Johnson Miller will hold an open house and breast health information session. Topics will include breast cancer risk assessment and various procedures available. “Ladypalooza”

6 to 8 p.m.

It’s a night of fun at the 2nd Annual “Ladypalooza,” an evening to learn about women’s wellness and have an opportunity to pamper your spirits, including health screenings, health and wellness advisors, retail vendors, food and refreshments, door prizes, giveaways for all attendees and speakers.  Pre-registration is requested and may be done at 732-988-1234, ext. 4376.
