Red Bank Library Gets New Director

The Board of Trustees of the Red Bank Public Library appointed Mary Faith Chmiel as library director.

Chmiel, formerly director of the Spotswood Public Library, has 15 years of experience as a librarian and is current president of the Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium.

A former Red Bank resident, Chmiel was owner of Twice Sold Tales book, a bookstore located in Red Bank’s downtown for many years. She currently resides in Tinton Falls.
