The RFH Girls Cross Country team has won the Group 2 State Sectional title for the fourth time in five years.

“We knew we had a strong girls’ team coming in,” coach Tim Mcloone said, “but we didn’t want to take anything for granted so it was good to see the girls burst right out from the gun. This was our 3rd straight title so it was something to savor.”

The RFH boys team finished in 4th place during the sectional meet, held Nov. 3 at Thompson Park in Monroe. Both teams advance to the Group Championship on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Holmdel Park.
