RUMSON –The Rumson U11 girls soccer team defeated Howell Extreme 4-1 to capture the prestigious Hershey Park Spring Elite Soccer Tourney. The Dawgs knocked off top teams from New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania en route to the big win.

The team outscored its opponents 17 goals to 2 as Lily Frick, Brynne Pritchard, Chloe Rosen and Avery O’Day captured MVP honors.

The Shemp Dawgs also recently won its second consecutive Monmouth Ocean Soccer Association (MOSA) league division title, going undefeated in 2014 and 20-1 during the last two campaigns.
